This is definitely a place worth visiting, especially for the works of art that are always in exhibit. The Cultural Center's main purpose is for the dissemination of art and culture. Many plays, dances and concerts are held here for the benefit of the citizens of Morelia.

Despite its style and architecure, this is in fact not an old building, it was built by the University of Michoacán in the late 20th century. If you observe the center's façade you will notice it is very similar to the college’s facade. The similarity exists because its was planned for the façade of both seperate buildings to be similar in style. It is also similar to the college through out its interior.
