This is a very picturesque plaza, less visited than “Plaza Union” or “Jardin Union,” which makes it very tranquil. I consider this my favorite Plaza because it is an excellent place to spend a bohemian night, drinking a glass of wine and enjoying the music of the troubadours that play in the cafes.
A fountain can be found at the center of the plaza and many trees add much charm to the plaza. Previously to being Plaza of San Fernando in 1863, the land was part of a country estate. The name was given to honor King Ferdinand the IIV of Spain.
