It is a beautiful garden that is the place of reunion for many tourist at nighttime. It has a triangular shape, very well taken care of trees, and a pretty kiosk in the middle where local bands play. The San Diego Temple and the Juarez Theater are next to this garden. It was previously named San Diego Plaza, due to its proximity to the temple that bears its name.

As a side note, it was the first place in Guanajuato to have running electricity. This plaza has many cafes and restaurants. Its antique balconies, tables under the shade of the trees, delicious food, and serenading musical groups, give this plaza a very romantic ambiance.
