With stairs leading to a great green limestone arch as its main entrance, its as if the garden itself is inviting you to enter. It’s in close proximity to Hidalgo Marketplace and the Temple of Belen.

The land was previously used as a corral and the garden wasn’t built until the end of the 18th century. In 1923 it was given its current name.

There are many big leafy trees that give shade to part of the plaza. A fountain, made of green limestone, similar to the arch, is found in the center of the plaza. I recommend relaxing at the edge of the fountain, or if you enjoy playing the guitar, then this is as good as place as any to play.

Reforma Garden

You can also enjoy hearing the birds chirping or watch the children feeding the pigeons. From time to time, you can find candy, books and crafts vendors. This is a delightful place where families and couples gather nearly everyday of the week.
