Cancun is a world wide beach destination famed internationally for its clear white sand and crystal clear blue-green water.
Cancun is a Mayan word meaning “nest of snakes”. It was developed during the 1960’s by the Bank of Mexico for the exact purposes of creating tourism and generating a handsome nifty profit. Prior to being a landscape of white colored towering mega resorts with a back dropping strip of endless clear blue water and bikinis prancing under the sun, there was just about a few sand dunes, and possibly an ant hole, and it possibly had one ant, but other than that, there was mostly just nothing. You get the point.
Needless to say, these crafty Mexican entrepreneurs did a marvelous job. Today Cancun brags of around 150 hotels stretched over 22 miles of beach, 380 restaurants, 4 million visitors yearly and an average of 190 fights daily. But is all due to the natural beauty of the beach itself, needless to say, being such a long strip of beach it is very difficult to determine what hotel to pick for your stay over. You most definitely want the hotel with the best beach front, and the bluest waters and the crowd the best fits you. Some hotels have a very small strip of beach in front of them, while others, have an immense bountiful beach with the bluest and calmest sea, you cannot really tell from those touched up marketing photographs.
That is the reason I took it upon myself to map every mile of beach in 360 view format so that the human race can now see for themselves how it really is, and pick what best suits them. I know, it was a dirty and arduous job to fly to a Caribbean paradise and capture images of the beach while happy girls play everywhere, but, nonetheless, someone had to do it, and it is not every day one has the chance to do something selfless, but that’s what I did.
Now you can virtually transverse the entire beach strip of Cancun, enjoy the white sandy beach under the Caribbean sun without physically traveling there. Most importantly however, if one day you decide to visit Cancun, don’t forget to check here first, and make an informed decision for your room and boarding. Remember the beach is everything, and here at Patawalk, you will see it from the ground view 360 degrees all around, no gimmicks, just the facts.
